Grey Bruce Public Health is seeking the public’s help in locating the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in Thornbury last Sunday, September 3rd.
At around 2 pm a small white dog, believed to be a shih-tzu, bit a man at a garage sale that was occurring on Arthur Street East.
The dog was off-leash at the time, but was with its owner.
GBPH need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies to help the victim avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
Anyone with information related to the incident are asked to call Grey Bruce Public Health.
