The NII Explore Science Olympics has crowned the Goderich District Collegiate Institute as champions at the second annual NII Explore Science Olympics.
The Olympics brought 12 teams of high school students across Bruce, Grey and Huron county’s to complete at the Nuclear Innovation Institute’s Advance Technology Campus this past Friday where a range of scientific challenges were issued.
GDCI came in third after the preliminary challenges and then came from behind to win in the final event.
Walkerton’s Sacred Heart Catholic High School Team 2 and 1 placed second and third respectively. Kellen Brenner, Sam Howard, Justin MacLeod and Jacob Watson represented GDCI for the win.
