The Goderich Fire Department recently recognized the retirement of Chief Darren Doak.
Doak served the department for 20 years working his way up the ranks before being named chief in February 2019.
The department says his dedication, leadership and determination was a great asset to anyone who had the privilege to serve with him.
The department wishes Doak the best in retirement.
