The Goderich Fire Department handed out several honours this week, marking service milestones for five members of their crew while promoting two more.
Nick Jenkins and Chad Crawford were both promoted to captain with the department saying they’ll continue to lead by example in theirs new roles.
Service awards were also given out in recognition of Deputy Chief John Dobie’s 25 years of service; and for firefighters Kyle Vanderburgh, Jeff Elliott, Darryl Boyer and Mike O’Brien, who have 15, 10, eight and five years on the force respectively.
