The Goderich Lions are celebrating Young Canada Week with a hockey tournament taking place over the week as well as a 50-50 to support the tournament itself as well as other community needs.
The 74th Young Canada Week runs until March 15th and the Lions are hosting a U13, U15 and U18 tournament welcoming teams across Ontario at the rep and local league levels.
Tournament Co-Chair Mike Alcock says its very easy to get involved to check out the weeks worth of hockey.
“Every household in Huron County would have received a souvenir program for Young Canada Week with their flyers. Its a 40 page program outlining the schedule, all the rosters and all the teams so have a look at that and come out and enjoy the action.” said Alcock.
