The Goderich Lions are set to host the Lions Foundation of Canada Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides on Sunday, October 1st.
The service helps change the lives of children, adults, and families in need of a Dog Guide.
There are seven programs undertaken; Canine Vision, Hearing, Service, Seizure Response, Autism Assistance, Diabetic Alert and Facility Support.
The event is set for Sunday, October 1st with registration at 10 am and the walk beginning at 10:30.
Goderich Walk Co-Chairs Ron & BJ Finlay say they are excited to host the walk again this year with it around 2.5 km in length and it will conclude with a BBQ lunch.
Pledge forms will be available at locations that sell Lions TV bingo cards.
100 percent of the proceeds of the event go directly to the Dog Guide programs.
