Should the Town of Goderich jump on board for getting a veteran crosswalk? It’s one Mayor Trevor Bazinet is giving some thought.
The idea of getting a crosswalk honouring veterans has gained a wave of storm since two were found in Stoney Creek and in Chatham which has now expanded with the Town of Cochrane unveiling their own and more communities are looking into them.
Mayor Bazinet says when the time comes to repave, it’ll be among the discussion.
“We’re going to communicate with the Legion in regards to that. They should be in the know and they should provide us with what’s allowed and what’s not allowed.” said Bazinet.
It’s not entirely clear as to when this type of discussion will be taking place.
