The Town of Goderich is said to be apply for Federal Government funding to undertake another expansion of the Goderich Harbour.
The size of the expansion is 10 acres. The Town undertook a similar expansion about seven years ago when they added 4 acres. That additional land has been exhausted.
Goderich is thought to have the only deep-water harbour on the eastern shore of Lake Huron.
