A Goderich weightlifter is looking to get his name into the Paris Olympics this summer.
Boady Santavy has been competing and training for a spot on the Olympic roster and has one more chance to qualify with a competition taking place next month in Thailand.
A GoFundMe has been set up by Boady who says this push to Thailand and qualifying marks the most important moments of his life.
Boady adds he is supposed to receive funds from the government for things such as this leading up to the Olympics but has not gotten the support.
A goal of $5000 has been set.
