The Huron County coastline might be a top destination for the summer but its also well placed when it comes to enjoying the winter as Goderich Winterfest arrives this weekend.
Officially kicking off on February 6th, Winterfest is complete with fun for the kids, live music, various outdoor activities and a chili cook off.
Jenna Ujiye, Tourism and Community Development Manager with the Town of Goderich says this has been going on for many years, acting as a great way to get out and enjoy the season.
“I remember participating in it when I was like 8 years old, it’s always been something to get out and have fun in winter outside and inside. Let’s get out of those winter blues and celebrate winter.” said Ujiye.
