Huron County OPP are investigating after a recent scam hit seniors in Huron East.
On December 13th an 82 year old received a call with a scammer saying the victims grandson had been in a crash and needed cash.
The victim was told to send $6500 in cash with arrangements made for someone to meet at the victims home the next day.
On December 14th an unknown individual described as a black man between 20-35 years of age came in a dark coloured car and took the cash.
The victim later called family and found out they had been scammed.
