The Grey Bruce Health Unit announced today that the Region has reached a milestone in terms of vaccination of local residents.
They announced in the release that 80% of the eligible population in the Region has been immunized with 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine with 84.5% having received one.
Additionally 3rd doses have been administered to all eligible and consenting residents in 26 long term care and high risk retirement homes in Grey Bruce.
They add that work will continue on the third dose campaign by the Ministry of Health that will see the remaining retirement homes and consenting residents in senior congregate settings get a 3rd dose.
