The Grey Bruce OPP have investigated incidents involving a firearm in August and September on Saugeen First Nation.
As a result a search warrant was executed on Thursday, September 7th at an address on Highway 21 in Saugeen First Nation.
The OPP Tactics & Rescue, Emergency Response Team, Community Street Crime Unit as well as uniformed officers assisted and a 37-year of male was taken into custody without issue.
The resident of Saugeen First Nation faces charges of possession of a firearm contrary to being prohibited.
The accused was help for a bail hearing before a court in Walkerton yesterday.
