Georgian Bluffs residents were advised of an increased police presence in the Village of Shallow Lake by the Grey Bruce OPP on Sunday evening around 10 pm.
The action was the result of an ongoing incident with Highway 6 through the village closed as a result. Residents were asked to avoid the area as a result.
Grey Bruce OPP updated the public early Monday morning saying they had concluded the investigation and have cleared the area.
Highway 6 through the area has reopened as a result.
