Grey County’s Supportive Outreach Service or SOS was recently featured on a national stage last week at the State of Canada’s Cities Summit in Ottawa.
SOS took part in the summit alongside other programs and services, sharing details about the work underway to improve communities across the country.
On December 3rd, United Way Bruce-Grey Executive Director Francesca Dobbyn represented the SOS team on the panel Investing in People and Place which explored the social infrastructure which supports communities and keeps people connected to each other and vital services.
Dobbyn says they are looking at replicating the collaborative approach to community care and together they aren’t just making a difference, they are saving lives.
