The Grey Highlands Fire Department has been named as a winner of the Kidde Cause for Alarm Fire Safety Campaign.
As part of being a winner, the fire department has recieved Kidde 10 year lithium ion battery back up smoke alarms to help strengthen home fire safety in the community.
Over the spring and fall, the Grey Highlands Fire Department will be visiting homes as part of the door to door fire safety program, checking smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms to help ensure residents are protected.
