The Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board has marked the start of a new catholic high school in Owen Sound.
A groundbreaking was held last month bringing together educators, board leaders and community partners to mark the start of construction.
The new school replaces the current St Marys High School which has reached physical capacity due to growing enrollment in the region.
Lori Dr Castri, Chair of the Board says they are laying the foundation both physically and literally for generations of students who will walk the halls, form lifelong friendships and discover their passions.
