A summer camp is kicking off for high school students who are interested in getting into a career path in healthcare.
Discovery Healthcare has launched to provide a unique learning opportunity for those looking to get into medicine, nursing, paramedics, or other healthcare professions.
The camp is run by first and second year medical students from Schulich Medicine & Dentistry at Western University and is being offered in multiple communities over one week including in Goderich with the Gateway Centre for Excellence in Rural Health.
Various skill sets will be taught including clinical, talking with healthcare professionals, discussing pathways to various professions and more.
