The Volunteer Goderich event is taking place this weekend.
The event helps locals learn more about a series of volunteer opportunities and brings people together.
A series of organizations and groups will be attendance to welcome those to learn more about their group and consider joining and volunteer.
Lisa Hood, Tourism Events and Marketing Coordinator with the Town of Goderich says this event is perfect for everyone in Goderich whether you’re new to town or have lived here for years.
“So if you’re somebody who maybe is new to the area or you’ve been here for a very long time and you’re just looking for a new way to get involved in town. This is the place to be.” said Hood.
The volunteer event will run on Saturday from 11am-3pm at the Goderich Memorial Arena.
