A special council meeting has been called today for Hanover who will look over grant funding with the province.
Council meets to authorize the execution of a Community Emergency Preparedness and Response Transfer Payment Funding Agreement.
As written in the agenda, the town will receive $39,511 which will be used to purchase a computer for the Emergency Operations Centre, a Satellite in A Box system to provide backup internet and a Meeting Owl 4+ conference system to boost communication with off site municipal emergency control group members.
