It was another busy year for the Hanover Fire Department.
In 2025, fire crews responded to 244 emergencies with the majority all being within Hanover with 84% of calls being within town followed by Brockton at 8.2% and West Grey at 6.6%.
In Hanover there was a total of 9 fire incidents and 16 pre-fire incidents with an estimate dollar loss of $29,500.
Public education also continues to grow as the fire department put over 300 staff firefighter hours dedicated to public education activities involving 56 events.
Around 5600 community member were involved in public education activities.
