Hanover Police has arrested a 29 year old man after recovering a stolen pickup truck.
Police on January 18th at around 12:15pm were joined with West Grey Police in the arrest with the truck stolen sometime earlier in the night from Meaford but it was not reported to police at the time of the initial interaction.
While the 29 year old was arrested, a 28 year old of no fixed addressed fled the scene who remains at large.
It was determined the accused and the 28 year old were in possession of illicit drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Police seized cocaine with an estimated street value of $700 and fentanyl with a street value of $8400 as well as break in tools and other stolen property.
The 29 year old of Chatsworth was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000, Possession of Cocaine and Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a release order.
