Hanover Police have charged a 31 year old man with trafficking fentanyl.
The charges come after reports of a disturbance on Wednesday.
Police say they were called to a 7th Avenue home at around 3:20pm.
Officers arrived to the scene where it was determined a woman was given fentanyl by the suspect which then led to an overdose.
After helping the woman recover, her friends confronted the suspect which led to a physical altercation.
Police say the 31 year old man was charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of fentantyl and breaching probation.
