The Hanover Police, through Chief Christopher Knoll, shared the news they are seeing an increased workload dealing with unruly and aggressive patients acting out while at the Hanover Hospital.

Patients are often coming from other catchment areas while their local ED’s are closed.

The Police say their priority remains the safety & security of their hospital staff & patients.

Chief Knoll says hospital personnel are working extremely hard to meet the increased volume & demands.

They ask for everyone’s patience and understanding in the triage system. It’s not a first come, first served system.
