The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a teenager from Owen Sound after they were called to reports of intimate partner violence in South Bruce Peninsula late Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a 911 hangup just before noon yesterday and found a disturbance had taken place.

The 18-year-old faces charges of assault and assault with a weapon.

They appeared before an Owen Sound Court yesterday to answer to the charge.

Police remind victims of domestic violence they are not alone.
