Health Canada recalling New Alasko brand Frozen Raspberries & Fruit Blend

Health Canada has recalled New Alasko brand IQF raspberries and IQF antioxidant fruit blend due to possible norovirus contamination.

There have been reports of illnesses associated with the consumption of the recalled products.

They were sold in a wide range of Provinces including New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario.

The affected products were sold in 1 and 5 kg packages with expiry dates of October 11th, 2023 and August 15th, 2024.

If you have purchased the recalled product do not eat it.

It should be thrown out or returned to the place of purchase.

Symptoms of norovirus include stomach ache, nausea, diarrhea as well as low-grade fever, headache, chills, muscle aches and fatigue.
