The Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking no increase from the two upper-tier municipalities in their 2022 budget.
The health unit said in a news release that it is the fourth straight year that the budget remains unchanged.
Bruce County’s portion is $1.19 Million, $1.67 for Grey County ($2.68 Million combined).
The $19.4 Million budget includes $3.4 Million from the province to cover costs related to COVID-19.
They say that the one-time funding is 27 percent less than what was requested for 2021.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra says the health unit have done an excellent job in building a budget that is both conservative and flexible.
