Swimmers are being advised of higher than normal bacteria levels at Southampton Beach.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit say they along with the Town of Saugeen Shores are monitoring the levels to make sure that it is at a point where the water is safe to swim in again.
They issued a news release saying the level of bacterial contamination are higher than Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care acceptable standards.
They go on to say that the results are consistent with the high wave action and cloudiness identified at the time of sampling.
