Midwestern Ontario continues to deal with extreme heat which began Sunday.
Temperatures today are expected to soar above 40 degrees with the humidity and Huron Perth Public Health is encouraging residents to be prepared and take precautions to avoid heat related illnesses.
Public health says during heat warnings its best to always drink plenty of cool liquids, especially water, reschedule or plan outdoor activities during cooler parts of the day, wear loose fitting, light coloured clothing and prepare meals which don’t need to be cooked in the oven.
