Hensall Co-op Dishes Out Funding with Strong Communities Initiative

Hensall Co-op has awarded a total of $20,000 to two organizations with other donations of 5 groups also getting funding as part of the Strong Communities Initiative.

The Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre was the first recipient of $10,000 which will continue to allow them to provide healthy school friendly snacks for Huron and Perth Counties.

Clinton’s ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is using their $10,000 for the Driven to Care Vehicle Replacement campaign.

Brad Chandler, CEO of Hensall Co-op, shared his enthusiasm for the grants, stating: “We received numerous applications highlighting the needs of rural communities. Hensall Co-op is proud to support organizations that play a vital role in our communities.”

Further, the Clinton Public Hospital, Hensall Legion, Mitchell Legion, Seaforth Community Hospital and Tiny Tater Childcare Cooperative in Carberry, Manitoba receiving funding.
