Homes sold across the area saw a rise above average not seen in five years.
The Huron-Perth Association of Realtors say homes sold across the region totaled 132 units last month, a massive leap of 50 per cent from the same time last year and rising from a five year low to above average levels.
On a year to date basis home sales reached 226 units, up 27.7 per cent from 2023.
The benchmark price of a home in February was $553,200 with the average price of a home going for $630,734, a rise of 7.6 per cent from February 2023.
The number of new homes also rose 13.4 per cent with 212 new residential listings for the month.
