The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation’s 2021 Radiothon campaign used a more old-fashioned method of raising money.

Spokesperson Diane Baldwin says the Radiothon usually is live, but this year they did a mail-in campaign due to COVID.

As of 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, the Foundation has raised $58,000 towards much needed hospital equipment.

Bruce Power and its supply partners donated $20,000 to the Foundation.

President and CEO Mike Rencheck says it was important to help out the hospital that is doing so much for the community.

The goal of the Foundation is to raise $194,000 for a new ultrasound machine for the Kincardine hospital.

The public can donate by calling the hospital foundation office at 519-396-3331 extension 4342, or by sending an e transfer to: kchcf@hurontel.on.ca.
