Huron Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson calls her government’s budget a plan rather than a budget.
Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy unveiled the 2022 budget in the legislature yesterday.
The budget includes more spending on items such as infrastructure projects.
The deficit is expected to rise close to 20 billion dollars.
Thompson said in a news release that the budget will rebuild Ontario’s economy, deliver better paying jobs, and keep costs down for families.
The budget was handed down a little over a month before the Provincial election.
