The Huron County Art Show returns this fall and local artists are invited to submit works that portray the area, for a chance to win $1000.

The judged competition will accepted submissions until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 30. All submitted work will be on public display at the Huron County Museum from October 16 to December 17.

First and second place entries will receive a purchase award of $1,000 and $800 respectively. Winning entries become the property of the Huron County Art Bank and will be used to furnish public areas with the talent of Huron’s local artists.

Previous shows have collected 50 works of art for the bank.
