The County of Huron announced its CAO, Meighan Wark, has been appointment to the County Caucus of the Association of Municipalities Ontario Board of Directors.
Wark will hold the position for the remainder of the 22-24 term.
As a member of the board, she will help set policy for the association and serve as a key municipal leader in the province.
Wark says that through the AMO, the County of Huron engages with other municipalities in Ontario to work together, address common challenges and advocate for their communities.
She says the approach is tremendously valuable for all of Ontario, and says she’s honoured to join the County Caucus of the AMO Board of Directors.
