The Huron County Christmas Bureau is open for registration, offering support to families this holiday season.
Their phone lines are open from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and families have until Dec. 2 to register.
The program has been offering support purchasing presents for families experiencing financial difficulty during the holidays since 1967. This year represents a significant change, as responsibility for overseeing the program has transferred from Huron-Perth Children’s Aid Society to Rural Response for Healthy Children.
In 2021, over 450 local families were helped through the program.
