The County of Huron is encouraging residents to make use of the recreational opportunities in the County’s woodlots including hiking any one of the open-to-the-public tracks this fall.

The gesture is to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Huron County Forests and to celebrate National Forests Week in Canada.

They are unveiling the “It Takes a Forest” campaign with a billboard at the Stevenson Tract.

It is run through Forests Ontario and helps provide information on the importance of forests, sustainable management, and forest stewardship.

The billboard will be installed on Friday at 41502 Morris Road, between London Road and the village of Brussels.
