Huron County Library holding Virtual Panel on Growing Censorship of LGBTQ2S+ Books

As part of Pride Month in June, the Huron County Library is set to host a Virtual Pride Panel Discussion on Tuesday, June 27th from 7 to 8:30 pm.

The event entitled ”Growing Censorship of LGBTQ2S+ Books” will see a penal of LGBT and Freedom of Information experts discuss the censorship issues around books and other media.

Special guests will include Alec Mullender, PhD  candidate in the Library & Info Science Program at Western and Michelle Arbuckle, Chair of the Freedom of Expression Committee at the Book & Periodical Council.

Registration is required to attend.
