Huron County is looking for the next member to join the county’s Accessibility Advisory Committee.
The group helps advice council and partner municipalities on how to identify, prevent and remove barriers for those with disabilities.
The work supports compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act while helping create an inclusive and accessible environment for all residents and visitors.
The committee is made up of 9 volunteer voting members, the majority of whom have direct or indirect lived experiences of disability.
