Huron County OPP have joined up with other detachments and municipal police services in joining the CAMSafe program.

The program encourages residents within Huron County to join a database of residential and commercial security cameras to act as a resource for police who are working on investigations.

Police will have access to all registered cameras in the program which can assist during investigations to get valuable information.

Police cannot access any camera without first getting permission from the property owner from the contact information on the database.

Those looking for more information or want to register their camera can do so from the CAMSafe website.
