As snow plow operators return to the clear up the area and roads begin to reopen, Huron County is taking time to recognize the work of snow plow operators and the efforts seen this winter.
Imran Khalid, Director of Public Works says operators have been working long hours in tough conditions to keep the roads safe, asking drivers to be patient and cautious around snowplows so they can do their job efficiently.
Tips to remember include to stay back and leave space for operators to do their job, slowdown and be patient as passing a snowplow can be dangerous and avoided.
