Huron County council has requested staff to come back at a future meeting on a proposal from the Acting Director of the Huron Perth and Area Health Team as council has been asked to join Huron Paramedicine.
Selina Hazlitt explained in a presentation a unique aspect to Huron-Perth in regards to an Ontario Health Team point of view is the number of membership in the area.
The importance of the group is for every health care organization to know where a patient can receive care or keep informed about their health.
While Hazlitt says she knows the current election can delay a response from Huron County she still hopes to have a response by either the end of the year or early next.
