Huron East advises of someone posing as By-Law Enforcement who Visited Home Recently

The individual did not present ID nor did they have a valid reason to be on the property. Muncipality advise By-Law have identification on them at all times.

The Municipality of Huron East advised it had received a call from a homeowner who had been approached by someone identifying themselves as a Huron East By-Law Enforcement Officer within the past week.

The individual did not present ID nor did they have a valid reason to be on the property.

They advise that all Huron East By-Law personnel carry proper identification at all times.

If you are wary of anyone claiming to be a Huron East By-Law Enforcement Officer you can request to see it.

If they refuse contact the Huron OPP non-emergency hotline at 1-888-310-1122 and the Municipality at a last resort.
