The Huron County OPP have charged a Huron East resident after receiving complaints of a vehicle on the Beach in ACW on August 20th.
Officers were contacted by concerned citizen of people drinking alcohol on the beach at the end of Zion Road at around 4:50 pm.
Police attended the area and located a vehicle on the beach matching the description.
Officers spoke with the driver and determined they had consumed alcohol prior to driving.
A roadside test was conducted resulting in a fail.
The 49 year-old male faces charges operation while impaired and blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
The involved vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and the driver’s license suspended for 90 days.
