Huron Heritage Fund announces 10 recipients of up to $5,000 in Funding

Each must assist in preservation & restoration of heritage landmarks, historical buildings & objects of not owned by the county. Heritage events & publications may also qualify.

The Fund in Huron County encouraging the preservation of heritage assets and activities of importance to Huron County residents is set to give the latest round of funding to 10 local projects.

To be eligible each must assist in the preservation & restoration of heritage landmarks, historical buildings and objects of historical significance not owned by the county.

Heritage events & publications may also qualify under the program.

There was up to $5,000 available for each project.

Successful recipients include in Bayfield the Historical Society, Townhall Heritage Society, and the Lions Club, as well as the Huron Pioneer Threshers & Hobby Association in Blyth, Goderich Little Theatre and the Van Egmond House Museum in Egmondville.
