Work has been making great progress at the expansion of the Huron Residential Hospice Bender House.
Expansion began in November 2023 which is aimed to bring in 4 new suits and as work nears completion the Hospice is in need to help furnish the space.
The Hospice has begun to collect donations to help make a few purchases which Christopher Walker, Manager of Fund Development with the Huron Hospice explains just what they’re looking to buy.
“We’re raising money now to pay for night tables, lamps, refrigerators, a refrigerator for the nursing staff room and televisions. Things that go into every new house.” said Walker.
The scheduled completion date of the Bender House at the Hospice is expected by August.
Those looking to donate towards the purchase of furnishings can do so from the Hospice website.
