The Huron Hospice has received a large boost thanks to Bruce Powers towards the Hospice’s Moments Matter Even More Capital Campaign.
Bruce Power has donated $100,000 to the campaign to close the community phase and begin to build new bedrooms at the Hospice.
Willy Van Klooster, Executive Director for the Huron Hospice says many construction projects post COVID has exceeded estimates with updated costs for them going above $2 million from their original $1.6 million estimate.
The gift from Bruce Power will be honoured with the Board of Directors approving the naming of the entrance driveway and expanded parking area.
