Huron-Kinloss Township has approved the 2024 budget which brings with it a yearly tax rate increase of 4.6 per cent.
The approved budget which is over $25 million includes a near $700,000 to the tax levy.
In a release, the township says the average value of a single family home in the township is $243,115.
This would mean an increase of $77.37 in 2024 for the average single family home.
