Huron County OPP have charged a person of no fixed address with Shoplifting after a jacket was stolen from a Huron Road business in Goderich.

The incident happened on February 24th and investigators learned the suspect left the business with a jacket valued at $200 and made no attempt to pay for the item.

Police were able to identify the individual from store surveillance and an arrest was made on Sunday, February 27th.

A 31 year old female of no fixed address has been charged with theft and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear at a Goderich court on April 25th.
