Huron OPP charge Huron East Driver after Collison involving Hydro Pole on Apr. 21st

The Huron County OPP have charged a Huron East driver after a collision back on April 21st just before 1pm just outside Egmondville.

Police, Huron East Fire and Huron County Paramedics were called to the scene on Front Road near Hensall road on reports of a pickup colliding with a hydro pole.

It caused considerable damage to the vehicle and the pole.

The lone driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

A 43-year-old female has been charged with dangerous operation, operation while impaired and with blood alcohol of 409 mg. This is five times over the legal limit.

Their license was suspended for 90 days and they are set to appear at a Goderich court on July 10th to answer to the charges.
